In 2023, over 170 million people in the U.S. received a paycheck. Imagine if each person donated just the spare change from their paycheck—everything after the decimal point. For example, if someone earned $2,481.37, they would contribute just $0.37. On average, if every paycheck donated $0.45 in spare change, the impact would be massive:

170 million x $0.45 = $76.5 million per paycheck going directly to nonprofits.

Even with just 1 million participants, we could generate $450,000 per paycheck—enough to provide meals for 100,000 people facing food insecurity. That’s the power of BIG TIME CHANGE—a collective, continuous effort.
